Georgia Self-Defense: Teen robbery suspects shot by victim :: 11/13/2015
STOCKBRIDGE, GA (CBS46) - Two teens are hospitalized after being shot while allegedly trying to rob a man in Henry County late Thursday night.
The incident took place around 10:30 p.m. at the Ashley Woods apartment complex on the 1000 block of Rock Quarry Road in Stockbridge.
Police say the two teens pointed a gun at the man and attempted to rob him when he fired on the suspects in self-defense.
One of the teens was struck in the chest. The other was struck in the leg. Both were transported to Grady hospital by ambulance where their conditions are unknown at this time.
The man who shot the teens was taken into custody and was questioned by detectives. It is unclear if any charges will be filed against the man.
It is also unclear if the teens will face any charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
