Illinois Self-Defense: Alleged shooter claims self-defense :: 06/28/2017
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) -- Authorities say a 64-year old stepfather claims he shot his stepson in self-defense.
A 29-year old man was taken to the hospital about 8:15 pm, Monday, from the 3000-block of Taylor Avenue with a gunshot wound in his left thigh. It's believed his injury is non-life-threatening.
The case is being presented to the Sangamon County State's Attorney's office to determine if any charges will be filed.
