"CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - The parents of two young boys killed during the shooting rampage at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut urged New Hampshire lawmakers Tuesday to pass legislation expanding gun background checks to include private sales."
We're certainly sympathetic towards parents whose children were murdered at Newtown, but another law would have done nothing to stop the killer. After all, in addition to murdering teachers and kids, he murdered his mother to steal the guns used at Newtown. Criminals, and the insane, generally don't stop to consider what laws they are breaking.
