The most awkward moment in the CNN “Guns in America” town hall last night: when the President of the United States tried to segue from commiserating with an unarmed woman who was raped in her own home to the “fact” that a gun in the home is more likely to lead to tragedy (an accident or suicide) than be deployed to defend innocent life.
