Rep. Fitzpatrick on Guns and Giffords Anti-Gun Money :: 06/05/2014
GOA rated Fitzpatrick (R-PA-8) "100%" because of his views on firearms. Based on the GOA rating, and his record prior to Toomey-Manchin, Fitzpatrick won the support of grassroots organizations in the 8th Congressional District. Now we find that he is accepting monies from Gabriel Giffords PAC. That's a slap in the face to every law abiding gun owner who supported him. The ONLY way to recover from this insult is to apologize by RETURNING EVERY PENNY HE'S RECEIVED FROM GIFFORDS. We're hoping that word of the attempts to disenfranchise firearms owners gets back to him, and he returns Giffords money, and issues a written apology to his constituents. We watch, we act, we support pro-gun candidates, and most importantly, we VOTE!
