Texas Self-Defense: Oak Cliff home invasion suspect fatally shot :: 12/20/2016
DALLAS - Police are investigating a fatal shooting in east Oak Cliff following a home invasion early Monday morning.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Hudspeth Street. A resident said an intruder entered his home and he shot the man in self-defense.
Police said it does appear to be a self-defense case, but they’ve taken the res ident in to police headquarters for questioning. He is cooperating with the investigation, police said.
The deceased man’s identity has not yet been released.
