Texas Self-Defense: Woman who stabbed boyfriend will not face charges :: 10/07/2015
HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman who police say stabbed her boyfriend during an argument in southeast Houston will not go to jail, but her boyfriend will.
Houston police say the man got into an argument with the woman and attacked her and her child at a home on Wortham Way near Mykawa.
She pulled a knife on her boyfriend and stabbed the man in self defense, investigators say.
A SWAT team was called in when the man refused to speak with police and barricaded himself inside the home. He eventually surrendered to the SWAT team.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
