Washington Self-Defense: Seattle woman shoots burglary suspect who ignored warnings :: 07/20/2019
SEATTLE, Wash. (AP) — A burglary suspect ignored numerous signs warning a Seattle homeowner was armed and prepared to shoot intruders and is in serious condition after she lived up to her promise.
KOMO reports the woman called 911 early Thursday to report she had shot an armed man as he tried to break into her home, wounding him in the shoulder.
Two other suspects were arrested nearby.
Burglars had broken into the woman’s home two days earlier while she was away, and police say this looks like a case of self-defense.
