Weighing 30 tons and built to withstand land mines, the armored combat vehicle is one of hundreds showing up across the country, in police departments big and small.
The 9-foot-tall armored truck was intended for an overseas battlefield.
And what 'battlefield' does the Neenah, WI Police Department face? Neenah is one of hundreds of small town and large town PD's that are gearing up for Armageddon. Why? Note that this story comes to us not from some fringe group, but from the New York Times. When mainstream press questions the motive, one might think hard about the militarization of law enforcement.
